Transitional Kitchen

This kitchen transformation began with the challenge of reimagining an awkward and inefficient layout to include space for a TV, a dining area, and a more streamlined, contemporary look. The design required bringing function and elegance into harmony, reflecting the home’s transitional modern style.

Custom Plain & Fancy cabinetry in the distinctive Taliesan door style anchors the space, finished in two complementary custom colors. The secondary cabinet finish fully connects the kitchen’s aesthetic to the adjoining rooms, creating a cohesive and thoughtful design throughout the home. A full suite of Thermador appliances supports the needs of a sophisticated cook, blending seamlessly into the cabinetry with both performance and style.

Smaller appliances are tucked away behind a custom rolling garage door, maintaining clean lines and visual order. The layout encourages effortless flow between cooking, dining, and relaxation zones. A custom Grothouse walnut table brings warmth and artisan appeal, paired with a Julien sink and a suite of California Faucets and Accessories in satin gold, adding a touch of understated luxury.

Crestola countertops by Difiniti crown the island and blue cabinetry, while Caesarstone Fresh Concrete countertops along the perimeter offer a subtle contrast that complements the space’s contemporary feel.

A dedicated bar area was also thoughtfully integrated, with a hidden Sub Zero wine storage unit and a full bar setup placed discreetly within the cabinetry. This setup provides convenient access for entertaining while preserving the kitchen’s sleek, uncluttered look.
