Budlong Woods Kitchen

This mid-century modern home gained new life with a thoughtful two-foot-deep addition, bringing expansive windows into the kitchen and opening the plan by removing the former dining walls. The result is a light-filled space that celebrates sweeping views of the rear yard.

At its heart, a functional yet striking island features an integrated butcher block top and fresh apple green cabinetry accents that echo the garden beyond. A designated desk and study nook add everyday practicality, while a petite shelving niche serves as the perfect spot for tea and coffee essentials.

A stylish peninsula extends gracefully into the dining area, seamlessly blending beauty and functionality. The cabinetry—a warm mix of Tennessee Walnut and Apple Green accent Leicht finishes—strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and playfulness.

To complete the transformation, the fireplace was redesigned with a sleek Ecosmart Firebox, adding a modern focal point that ties the living and kitchen spaces together.
