Gold Coast High-Rise Bath

The goal of this project was to transform a standard, cookie-cutter high-rise bathroom into a space full of unique, elevated design elements. The result is a thoughtfully layered and visually striking retreat.

One of the standout features is the built-out mirror, which cleverly integrates a light niche at the bottom—providing soft, ambient lighting that elevates the space. Below that, the countertop was raised and paired with a high backsplash that wraps back into a shelf beneath the niche. This creates a dynamic in-and-out effect, adding both depth and function to the vanity wall.

An Alape countertop sink sits gracefully atop the surface, contributing to the overall layering of materials and forms. Just beneath, an open shelf adds an airy break before transitioning into a full storage drawer—playing with positive and negative space in a subtle yet effective way.

A tall linen cabinet is seamlessly tucked into the layout, offering generous storage alongside curated display space for decor or everyday essentials.

Equally striking is the color-blocked shower, which brings intense visual appeal and a bold, modern statement. The built-in shower bench recesses back into the wall, revealing an additional niche that takes advantage of found space—combining smart functionality with custom detailing.

Altogether, this bathroom blends minimalism with thoughtful intricacy, turning a once-ordinary space into something entirely bespoke.
