William Rodon Hornof

Architect

William Rodon Hornof is a prominent Chicago architect with a portfolio of noteworthy buildings, new and reimagined, and spatial transformations that balance the ideals of architecture with the realities of construction.

Bill founded his firm, 2RZ Architecture, in 1992 to merge artistic design and construction into the practice of architecture. His work as a fine artist, his earlier enterprise and hands-on work as a builder, and his experience with two of Chicago’s leading architectural firms inform his practice.

From conception through realization, Bill works with clients and craftsmen to create original environments that embrace the spirit of individualism in alternative design concepts.

With his wife, Colette Rodon Hornof, Bill is also a principal at Vesta, a design center and showroom regarded for equally striking and vibrant kitchen and living spaces. William is an active member of the AIA.
